Since 2011, he has advised a private family office on entrepreneurial and emerging business opportunities. He holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Economics from New York University.

Eddie Lau

Eddie Lau

Eddie Lau brings more than 25 years of experience across fintech, asset management, investment management and brokerage in the United States, China and Hong Kong. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership and investment positions at prominent financial institutions, including Arta Global Markets, Arta TechFin, Rongtong Fund Management, Elliott Advisors, Merrill Lynch and UBS.

He has managed and overseen multi-billion-dollar investment portfolios and has extensive experience across global capital markets, hedge funds, alternative investments, digital assets, blockchain technology and financial innovation. Eddie co-founded PCA Investments, a hedge fund seeded with US$500 million from China Investment Corporation, and established Harmony Advisor, which reached more than US$2 billion in peak assets under management.

Eddie has also contributed to the development of emerging financial technologies in Hong Kong, including initiatives involving central bank digital currencies, tokenization and Web3. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with Honors from the University of Chicago and currently serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Hong Kong.

His background includes approximately 20 U.S. dollar bond transactions at Guotai Junan Securities (Hong Kong), as well as REIT research, due diligence and financial analysis at Shenzhen Capital Group. He holds an MSc from University College London and a BSc (Hons) from Lancaster University, and is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Yangzi Guo

Yangzi Guo is a cross-border industrial resource integration and strategic advisor. She currently serves as Director of Business Development at Bassaam Capital and is the Founder and CEO of GYZ Group, bringing 13 years of cross-industry experience across China, Southeast Asia and North America.

Her global resource network spans three core segments: Asia-Pacific manufacturing and high-tech enterprises; biomedical, food science and intelligent equipment research and development facilities in New York, Silicon Valley, Boston and New Jersey; and U.S. artificial intelligence and robotics industrial application resources.

As Director of Business Development, she focuses on sourcing and developing high-quality industrial clients for the firm while connecting U.S. family offices and leading institutions with Asia-Pacific industrial cooperation opportunities. Shima Ge serves as Managing Director at Bassaam Capital, where he leads strategic planning, data analytics and operational initiatives that support the firm's investment research, business intelligence and technology-driven decision-making.

He brings extensive experience in data analytics, research, program management and cross-functional leadership, with a proven track record of developing executive reporting systems, optimizing business processes and delivering data-driven insights for complex organizations. His expertise includes artificial intelligence applications, business intelligence, data governance and strategic performance analytics.

Prior to joining Bassaam Capital, Mr. Ge held leadership and research positions with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, Ryan Health and Johns Hopkins University. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary initiatives, managed large-scale analytical projects and collaborated with senior leadership to improve organizational performance and operational efficiency.

Mr. Ge holds a Master of Public Health from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland.

Cissy Tang is an investment banking and corporate development professional with experience in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, strategic investments, and growth-company advisory. As Secretary-General of the Global M&A Association and a Partner of the Asia-Pacific M&A Fund, she has supported strategic investment initiatives and facilitated collaboration among entrepreneurs, institutional investors, and capital-markets professionals. Ms. Tang brings a strong combination of corporate finance expertise, international market insight, and relationship-driven business development to support private-fund investment activities, transaction execution, and strategic portfolio growth.

Most recently, Albert served as Head of Financial Institutions Department at ING Bank, where he was responsible for institutional and family office relationships in China and Hong Kong, with a focus on private fund clients. Prior to ING, he held senior roles at Deutsche Bank, where he was Head of Hong Kong Client Coverage for the Asset Wealth Management Division, and at J.P. As President of Aventador Construction, he has led more than 100 residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects representing over $100 million in project value, working closely with developers, lenders, investors, and municipal agencies. His BBA in Real Estate & Finance, with a minor in Accounting, combined with his New York City Licensed General Contractor credentials, gives him a differentiated ability to evaluate opportunities from both an investment and execution perspective. For a private fund, Mr. Wang brings disciplined risk assessment, deep market relationships, operational oversight, and a proven ability to protect capital, manage development risk, and support long-term value creation.
